Saturday June 27, 2009.  75 miles.  65 miles plus an extra 10 to/from my house.

After a full week of commuting (65+ mi, Monday-Friday) plus a critial mass ride, I joined the Donald Haack team for the long ride from South Park to practically Lancaster.  Very hot, mid 90s.

40 miles.  Found new route from Payne Branch to BlueRidge.  No unpaved roads…Oh, but you have to climb up and over the Appalachian Ski Resort top char lift.   Viaducts are amazing in structure and beauty.   65 degrees, no shadow; perfect weather for a great morning of climbing.

60 miles, extra 521 section, Walkup Road climb “OUCH”, Water Tanks to CaptD desent.  Hot and humid.  I like how Tizrah Church Rd rides the NC/SC border.
